Spread — placing equal stakes on three symbols per round triples your chance of hitting at least one, at the cost of tripling your average loss when none appear. Some players prefer the higher hit rate; the maths is identical in expected value.
The single tactical mistake to avoid is the gambler's fallacy. Just because Munda has not appeared in the last six rolls does not mean it is "due." Every roll is independent and the symbols have no memory. Bet on the symbol you like, ignore the recent history, stick to a small flat stake.
Bankroll discipline matters most. Lock a session limit before you sit down — say, 25x the minimum stake. Play until you hit that limit, win or lose, then walk.
